  improv, and the band messing around with Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds".

  honor of Levon Helm, who had died that day.

All songs feature the Guster String Players - Charlene Huang on violin
and April Guthrie on cello - except the request section and encore.
They came back on stage to honor the request for "Rocketship", and also
contributed vocals on "This Could All Be Yours".

Mat Edgar opened the show, followed by an improv set by Jeff Garlin.
Jeff's set ended with him singing "Solitary Man", backed by Guster.
Guster then played eight songs with the Guster String Players, followed
by a request section with Jeff but without Charlene and April, and ended
with eight more songs with strings, plus the unamplified encore.

DPA 4021s (Orch H 101/102, XY on stand at ~4' for most of this sit down acoustic show, then ~6' for the last 2 songs) -> Sound Devices 722 (@ 24/96); FLAC File processing in SoundForge Audio Studio 10.0d (volume normalization; heavy clap removal; smoothing out some thuds when the stand was bumped; EQ to tamp down some loud yells; resample to 44.1 with iZotope 64-Bit SRC set higher than "Highest Quality" setting w/anti-alias filter; 24->16 bit dither using iZotope MBIT+ Dither with Ultra noise shaping, High dither settings); Tracked in CDWav.

Note that I spent nearly 20 hours on the very difficult mastering job it took to get this recording to sound good.  A combination of a low stand, zealously loud crowd (including LOTS of clappers / yellers), and quiet music (some played unamplified) made the perfect storm for a very difficult recording to master.  While it's far from perfect, I did my best and it's actually very very listenable now.
