Master 7" Soundboard Reels @ 7 1/2 ips > Reel to Reel @ 3 3/4 ips (Kidd dub for Jerry) > Reel to Reel @ 3 3/4 ips(Will Boswell)
Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: - Thanks to Matt Smith for the fresh transfer of the 2nd generation reels in DSD using his rebuilt Revox A77 - Thanks to Charlie Miller for coordinating this effort and providing the Taper's Section streams - Thanks to David Lemieux for the "Taper's Section" broadcasts of "China Cat Sunflower" thru "Playin' In The Band" from the 1st set, as well as "Dark Star" thru "Casey Jones" from the 2nd Set. These broadcasts provide a soundboard source for 0:18 and 1:57 patches in "China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider", 4:02 and 0:08 patches in "Playin' In The Band", 1:04 and 0:19 patches in "Dark Star", the final 0:53 of "Deal, the final 1:08 of "Tomorrow Is Forever", as well as "Sugar Magnolia" and "Casey Jones" in their entireties. - Thanks to Bob Menke for the audience source which supplies a 2:28 patch in "Promised Land", as well as a 0:09 patch in "Me & Bobby McGee" - The Bob Graham intro is from the soundboard source and after the first few seconds of "Promnised Land" the soundboard source becomes severely distorted, the mix fluctuates, the levels fluctuate and is unlistenable, the issues are pretty much sorted out for the final 0:20 "Promised Land" - Thanks to Joe B Jones for his assistance with the pitch correction Mastered by Scott Clugston August 2021
